Steps I took before success :
1, I deleted geforce experience
2, windows + R > msconfig > services > and disable everything what you dont know what it is, except microsoft services (you can hide those.) Here I had some Lenovo named thing, what I dont know why so I just uncheck them and click OK. Also here I found my Kingstone fury rgb controll something.. I also disabled that..
3, I downloaded CCleaner and basically I used everything the program let for free. [cleaning registry files and repair missing ones.]
I dont remember any more steps but of course I did a lot of things before these final 3.. e.g I deleted logitecGhub and my keyboard app (I used them to controll the rgb colors...) and my Asus motherboard app (aura controll).
I updated diretX and other programs what the game uses.. ect.
BTW I don't think geforce experience was the main problem.. so later I'll add back these step by step to see what the game let me use.
The last update what Apex pushed out today didnt fixed the issue btw(of course not lol). I got a different message but the same content.. "I use some script or background tools" thats why I started messing around msconfig and see what I have running and I dont know about it.
If you guys managed to run the game let me know :D and if you dont find servers also let me know because I had that too and somehow solved by messing around at the ethernet / network settings.
~sorry for my bad english btw~
- I uninstalled all the apps i didnt use.
- I checked all the start up apps with Autoruns.exe
- I uninstalled and re installed Radeon AMD drivers
- Same thing with Audio drivers
- I changed to EA and Steam back and forth
- I unplugged every USB port
Still, nothing worked. Its been 2 weeks. This is incredible.
if the problem is something that simple (win version), respawn team should just let a note saying that we should update our windows version.... this isn't like a top secret thing that cheaters would use ? idk lol
Just remember to enter flags 211 in the registry instead of 11 for directx11.
Well, if you need old Windows for cheats and scripts, suck my ass.
I have a PC from Scan, on bootup it launched "menu.exe" which is a support app. I hadn't ever used it and didn't really know it was there.
When this was closed Apex worked fine, but when it was running i ran into launch issues.
I have now disabled it from running on startup and had no issues since
I hope this helps someone.
