AI teamates?

Been doing a couple of quads and ranked games recently and I've had this happen multiple times. I'll get into a game with a team have one real player then there's one squad mate that's got a bunch of random letters and numbers for a name and they'll normally never land with the squad and just run into walls. They'll jump, run into them, use abilities and even ult in the corner of the map?! And they end up being gold 4-1 some even plat, level 4-65 somehow. Like are they supposed to be programmed when you wouldn't normally get a team and be solo? cause whatever it is it sucks and its throwing my games.

AI doesnt leave game after knock, this players are don't even give chance to cluch

Technically cheaters can put bots to play in Apex Legends most likely. In Pubg there are bots playing in ranked to be killed by other players who are teaming. Maybe that is also happening in this case.
If they are able to add multiple bots to the same lobby then the owner of the bots or the customer can win rank points in a more easy way.

See that's what I was thinking but then again steam would have to notice that though? I wouldn't say EA cause I know they could care less but it still confuses me on how they're able to be consistently hit gold when they are at the edge of map dying to storm.

There are botted teammates, yes. You can tell because they periodically use abilities, run into walls, and move sporadically, maybe shoot the air.
