Terrible Optimization

The game has terrible pc optimization issues and I can't even play a single match without hard stutters or lag.

For referrence I have a Ryzen 5 3500 6 core processor, 16 gb of ram, and gtx 1650 ti and even on the lowest settings and capped at 60 fps it will freeze and drop to 20-30... They seriously need to fix this asap.

Are there any known fixes for this?

i have the same, i tried everything i found on Ytube but nothing works, unplayable

ive noticed dx12 runs better for me although my components are slightly better than yours.

I have an old PC i7 4790K .RTX 3060, Before I could play at a stable 120fps, now it constantly drops to 70-100fps.

Do you know that the last Update Broke the "ADAPTIVE SUPERSAMPLING" I think that even if is disabled will continue to affect performance, Wait until it is fixed, they are working on it.

I tried DX12 and did not help at all, I really could not figure out where the issue lies, I'm just going to play it on my xbox series s since it at least its stable on there.

Hmmm interesting that does explain a bit, hope they can roll out a hotfix soon.

I have almost the exact same pc and I get 144 fps with a mix of high to low settings. It's most defiantly NOT the optimization. Unfortunately it has to be something to do with your pc.

What kind of performance do you get in other games?

What kind of performance do you get in other games?

Most games on run pretty stable when optimized, I'd have to go and test a few games to see overall but I can run Destiny 2 around 80-90 frames with no stutters or freezes and Payday 2 90-10 frames, DMC 5 around 50 frames, Elden ring a consistent 50-60 frames with no stutters or freezes. I had a similar issue when playing fortnite and R6. Is there something on my pc that's causing this?

Clearly the CPU requirements increased, only those of us who are barely in CPU power noticed it, The Ryzen 5 3600 has a big advantage over 3500. (4000 to 2800 score)

Ah I see the 3500 series is just outdated for modern games at this point, I've been reading up on getting a new pc soon anyways.

NO, ITS is 100% the game. Not your system. The game. I have the good stuff PC, still runs like crap. I go to other games, runs prefect, back to apex ... crap.. If you system played good before update? Yeah its the game. Your system is fine. Save your money. Until they (EA) fix the problems, this is just the way it is. Laggy, stuttering, junk.... I'm still playing, but its just less fun and more frustrating.
