I'm a casual (solid plat player) and it's nearly impossible to play pubs full of sweats with 4k badges and 20 bombs. Even in ranked, doesn't matter if its the start of a new season or not, i ALWAYS get sweats in both ranked and pubs.
Imma be quitting this game for good once XDefiant is released (older COD style, no SBMM even though its an ubisoft game).
Apex is for pros and sweats, it's not a casual-friendly game.

100% agreed. I'm a casual player and sweat lords are what made me leave this game and never come back

I think most mid-level players quit game like 10 season ago. Especially if they don't play with controller.

So if you are "too good" for bot lobbies you are just food for 3-stack masters/preds. I think there are no mid tier pub lobbies (or the sbmm is just not working good enough to create mid tier lobbies). Ranked is quite casual friendly compared to pubs until ~plat. Excluding beginning of the season when sweats are still in low rank lobbies.

I litteraly gave up 6 months ago ...
I'm not a great player neither a good one, but i'm certainly not that bad as the game tries to make me believe (i have good performance in ANY other games. I'm M&K.) ...
Apex punishes me soooo hard every single game ... Every single one ! Got killed by 20k+ kills players with frightening badges...

Matchmaking do not work at all ... SBMM is designed to move casuals away, ok I dealt with it and gone.

Wonderful game loop: up to 10 minutes opening boxes then die, restart ... (i managed to win 4 times (out of 300h), yeee ! 1 win because i met no team !! Zero damage win lol Pathetic...) ...

even in ranked. last saturday i played a bit to grind ranked and i got people with pred and master badges in gold lobbies. and it was the very end of a season.

lots of masters and preds dident race the ranks after the mid season splitt, and was in lower ranks thats the reason.....

the 4k & 20k badges doesnt mean much anymore. People are sweat past them long time ago xD
