My account got reset

I hopped on after about an 6 months break of the game and all was going well and i tried to connect cross progression from my old xbox account to my steam account that night i got on. It didn't work and after relaunching the game i continued playing. I hop on the next day and im reset to level 0 and i've lost absoultely everything. About 130 levels. airloom, and all my current coins and skins. Why has this happened im trying anything to get it back.

they messed up really bad, lots of people lost progress (I lost legendary drop for exemple) with the split update. They tried to backup progress yesterday or so, some got their progress back and some are still stuck with reseted account. Respawn said they're "investigating" on the matter but we don't really know when they'll fix everything

I had a similar problem not being able to merge my accounts after merging my accounts I contacted Ea directly and they sorted me out. However 2 days ago my accounts became separated again so, I didn't lose my progress to my knowledge but I now no longer have access to my items from Xbox which I had gained during the merge. Is there a known date and time for when this will be fixed?
