because it's still a risk and these exploits tend to spread quickly. Look at what happened to the Dark Souls trilogy as an example. What you are saying was said for about those games until many, many random, regular players like me and you started getting hacked via such exploits.
Lol. I do wanna play it but I don't wanna risk it. EAC seems to have confirmed it's not anything on their end so im just waiting for EA & Respawn to respond.
The truth is that they’ll just try to sweep it under the rug and eventually just shut it all down.
There’s no coming back from this in terms of reputation so they’ll just bank on the players’ addiction or ignorance to squeeze a few more bucks.
For every post/ comment/ tweet, Reddit thread made about the security issues and the company’s silence, there’s at least 2 more posts/ comments/ tweets/ threads made about not being able to buy coins to burn money on this dumpster fire.
This playerbase is something else entirely!
You might as well enjoy the ride while it’s in its last few days/ months.
You’re probably correct, but it’s so disappointing how Respawn & EA have acted on PC as of late. They released Jedi Survivor and have basically left that port to rot, and then they put Titanfall 2 on Steam, which had big security issues and only fixed them just last year to gauge interest in that franchise since EA wants to work on less licensed IPs.
it was never safe
I've been playing the entire time and am fine
plus I've only seen Soft aimbots since, a lot but still.
Although you're better off not playing the game generally tbh.
How big is your ego?
