No duos for this season

In the next update Duos aren't coming back, instead it will be replaced by Quads until the end of the season.

This means I won't be able to play Apex Legends until next season. I only play duos, since the vast majority of the time I only have one other friend to play with. I don't enjoy playing with random people, and don't want to go up against 3 stacks with a no-fill team.

At this point, I honestly wish I could get a refund for my battle pass, since what Respawn is doing prevents me from playing the game, making me waste the money. That or a free battle pass next season. But I know that's not going to happen.

WTF.... they took out duos????? I'm starting to think they are really telling the players F U C you. They take everything the community wants away. Don't fix anything the community wants. Everything is a little pricey. Yeah, pimping you right in your face. Just glad steam has a lot of free games most of which are more fun then APEX.

So you eat a lunch at the restaurant, decide you didn't like it and now you want your money back or at least free lunch tomorrow....
If there are too many game modes there won't be enough players for all of them. So only a few of them are allowed. It is also not a common wish of the whole community to have duos.

That's a really poor analogy, since then I would have consumed the food. I would be happy if they removed everything I had unlocked from the battle pass so far, and giving back the apex coins aside from the one pack I opened from the premium track, or roll back my account to the start of the season.

Then why not replaced Trios with Quads? so Duos is gone half the season, and non-ranked Trios for the other half of the season. That way It would be fair, for those that really want to play Trios ranked would still be there.

So you have consumed the food enjoyed it and now you throw up on the table and tell the waiter he can take the food back and you would rather get your money back. Even worse.
Game mode for three players is the base one. That won't be removed ever. About Quads I rally don't care that much. I assume solos and duos didn't draw expected number of players to the game and therefore they want to try something else.
No mode will bring the huge players base when game is in such a bad state.

Duos have been a permanent mode since Season 4, if that doesn't make it a core game mode I don't know what does. Besides takeover events have regularly replaced Trios many times, replacing it with Quads would be no different. In fact it would only be fair for everyone.

Edit: Also replacing Trios with Quads make sense when it comes to the amount of players. Since with Quads it's just one more player per team if it replaced Trios. But now when it replaces Duos it will require two more players per team, and it has to compete with Trios. So Trios and Quads could starve each other.

The main focus of the game is 3 stack....not duos or solo....those are optional. So sorry but see you next season.

I never said it should replaced ranked Trios or permanently. Non-ranked Trios have been replaced by take over many times, one of the most recent instances of this was during the Final Fantasy event.

I can't believe people are so inconsiderate they want Duos to remain gone, because it won't affect their enjoyment of the game. Not caring about those people that's been waiting for 6 weeks to get Duos back.

In my opinion, Duos should return and Quads should replace non-ranked Trios. While it's not ideal, ranked Trios would be available. That's more then Duos have gotten for 6 weeks... and the rest of the season by the look of it.

Once again....trios is the main focus of this game....not duos...not solo...
Non ranked trios also serve as a training exercise for ranked. People train their coordination and communication skills before heading over to ranked trios. Solo ( or no fill teammates ) & duos are the extra non ranked options thus are expendable.

Just stating the obvious you're the one paying them, you willingly bought the battle pass, they didn't ***make you*** spend any money
