Footstep audio non existent

Like get rid of some of the audio clutter so people can actually hear footsteps maybe? I don't need a battery making a load of noise, I'd rather be able to maybe hear a Horizon coming behind me before they shoot me in the back.

The only footsteps i have ever heard in game since season 1, are my teammates.

This games audio is so hit and miss sometimes you will hear footsteps of the enemy team from quite a while away but sometimes, they are just behind you with no f#cking sound. I found this happens sometimes if you are already fighting a team with lots of excess noise going on.

Well, EA knows footstep audio is an issue for long time, cause literally ALL the Pro players complain about it always. But thing's haven't gotten much better.
Makes you wonder, if they even have the capability to fix it,

My main 2.4 ghz headset isn't working so right now using the wired 3.5m headset from my Galaxy S10 phone and even I can still hear people from all directions. People need to pay more attention to surrounding sounds instead of only focussing on killing...

So hard to believe that there's a few random bugs, i.e. with the footsteps? Well-known issue since the S1 by the way.

Those that encounter the problem will always complain about it....Since I've been playing in 2021 I hardly till never have experienced something like that because I'm always the guy who listens to what happens around me....Hell..I'm most of the time the 1st one who warns my team because I hear footsteps in the distance...Most of the time I'm the only 1 in my tram who is using STEALTH to aproach an enemy squad instead of the bs running so they can actually HEAR you coming.
Oh yeah...occasionally I might not hear the enemy coming because there is just too much going on...or perhaps it's because they were also CROUCHING...!!!

same issue here. cant even fix a footstep issue for 22 seasons. great job Respawn.
