Where you learn this?
Re- start the game and don't use VPN.
It means the data have to go twice trough you and the host.
It is slower....
Doesn't matter what your ping is. The game is actively desyncing players and altering the hitreg to favor an outcome.
If you have high damage games but no kills and everyone is downing you in a slit second, you are fodder for the more profitable players.
Don't care if you believe it or not, if you know you know.
I'm starting to think the same.
If this is true it's a sad state of affairs.
Just a question for you: Where did you get this info from? Did you make any measurements? Or was this said by a Dev once upon a time? Is it a urban legend kind of thing?
Ragtagg hints at it sometimes, specifically said that paying players get put into easier lobbies to keep them happy.
Overall this is based on my super powers of pattern recognition and paying attention to the kill cam. When it's super obvious the game is rigged, I'll do something specific to see if it pops up. Try it ; punch the air or jump in a specific way to see if it happens on the other end. Usually doesn't. I'm talking an entire mag gone missing, perfectly tracking someone with a Flatline and following it up with 2 or 3 PK shots and still not getting the kill. 3000dmg match with 1 or 2 kills. No hit reg at the most convenient (for them) moment, failed gun swap, ult not responding, etc, etc.
Edit : There was also something official that came out confirming COD (I think, not sure) is actively widening the margin of error for less skilled players. Doesn't mean Apex is doing it but it does confirm that it's actually a thing.
Thought about it but I don't even need to go that far. Sometimes the situation is seemingly reversed. When my team is "supposed" to win, I down people really fast and get some shots/kills I know I don't really deserve. Happens way less often though since I usually get teamed up with lower level accounts I'm supposed to somehow (I can't) carry against a bunch of TTV sweats. Only reason the game thinks I'm any good is because I play a mean recon and turn the tide with a disgusting number of assists.
Thanks.
I found this article

warning: it's a long article!
Personally it explains why It feels better to play on US servers then on low ping EU.
