FPS Drops and bad stuttering

i came back to apex after a while, and I can't play because my fps randomly goes from around 250 to 10 then back. I dont know whats causing it because I have very low settings, and not many other apps open when I play. All other games work fine, its only Apex. I tried a bunch of videos and none worked. All my drivers are up to date too.

i9 14900KF
4070 ti super
32 g ddr5 6000mhz

It's not a ping issue I'm almost positive the recent update for the game was buggy. Cause there is no way ONLY apex lags and everything else is fine. I got a i7 12700, rtx 4060 ti 16gram, 32g of ram, 2 Sdds.. point is there is no way apex should be lagging on my PC but ever since saturday morning my game has been unplayable

It's not just u bro.. For me apex literally fks with my entire PC even after a close it. Mouse lagging, i can't restart my pc it just goes to a black screen. Now all this happened so I thought fk it's a driver issue something is corrupted thats why i'm dropping fps in game and my pc being weird. Surely one fking game couldn't be doing this to my WHOLE PC i sat there troubleshooting for like 3 hrs got bk on apex boom same issues im like the fk something is cooked in my pc. A friend says lets try playing something else we get on League and it's totally fine, i get on lost ark it's fine, i get on any other game besides apex and my pc doesn't start throwing up. As for the hacking BS like last month and then now this issue cropping up here and there coupled with the other issues after the update.... this fking game is cooked

Uninstalled G-Hub. Can Confirm it ain't it. It was a good suggestion tbh. Kinda running out of ideas. Probably settle, it's on Respawns side.

thats wild. im say its an intel issue. i run amd and can run apex at 4k with 165 frames no lag no crashing no super high ping.

You have a novidia card. Simply remove any FPS caps you've put now, limit your game's FPS to 163 or 164 through novidia's control panel and try again. If you don't know how - Google it [letmegooglethat.com].

Been playing in different EU servers all day and I've not seen any issues, other than matchmaking giving me 2 special olympics "legends" on my team every time because of my stats and it expects me to carry them.

Not saying the game hasn't been degrading, especially in the last year, but maybe try to understand how your PC works in terms of FPS and refresh rate, and the technologies that your GPU offers (like gsync for example).

Also, you could also try double-buffered vsync in the settings, since you have i9 14900KF you shouldn't really notice the slight input lag increase.

Test it out, be less lazy and more brave to research and try things on your own.

Same here. My gpu usage often sticks at around 40 to 60% only with massive fps drops in certain areas of the map without any fps caps! This game is basically poorly optimized! This is by far the only game I've played that behaves like ♥♥♥♥! Very frustrating!!!!! ♥♥♥♥!

In video config turn off "Nvidia Reflex"
it may not solve your problem. anyway it is broken.
