Apex Legends POORLY OPTIMIZED
This game is old and runs poorly on systems with 4 cores 8 threads and 6 cores 12 threads cpus. It basically bottlenecks any system with low core count processors which results into massive fps drops and stutters due to the low cpu and gpu usage (50 to 60% with vsync off or adaptive). I've tested this with multiple systems and have confirmed this game is dog$hit! I got 2 laptops and 1 desktop Acer Predator Helios 300 i5 10300h 16gb 2933mhz 2070 max q, Asus TUF F15 i5 11400h 16gb 3200mhz 3050ti, and desktop i9 9900k 32gb ram 4000mhz RTX 3070. Both laptops struggles like hell even at low settings in some areas of the map especially in close fights while my desktop runs buttery smooth! Not to mention, this game runs like $hit on PS5 too 😂😂😂 I guess this is just the perfect time to uninstall this crap and commit to XDEFIANT!

Bruh, I ran at:
i5-7400
16Gb ram
1050 Ti
lowest settings
locked at 100 fps
and it runs smoothly

To anyone saying the game runs smoothly on their systems, sure, but the question is, is it stable? First of all, I never mentioned how many fps I get in game but I get like 120 to 300 fps on the ground too but that doesn't mean the game is smooth all throughout? The main issue here is the fps drops in certain areas of the map. You'll know the game is bottlenecking your system when you're on the ship at the start of the game and gets 70 to 90 fps with low cpu and gpu usage then goes back up to normal after landing on the ground. I don't experience this problem with my i9 9900k with 8 cores and 16 threads cpu at all. Tell me you don't know what I'm talking about without telling me you don't know what I'm talking about. 😂😂😂

Xdefiled ad
My 5600g rx580 16 ram runs it at 125 avg while locked at 120
guess it's just your skill issue. Try doing some overclocking dude or even better: go to some specialized store where they blow the dust out of your old ass pc and install adobe reader so 5 yo game runs at least 120 fps per second

Game is indeed spaghetti code

People might actually try and help or explain why this is happening to you, but since you are so rude and "know it all" from the first post, I doubt you will find any satisfaction here.
I guess it's perfect time to uninstall and play other games.
No need to get angry at everyone here.
Chill

BTW I had older i5 6600k and sapphire RX580 that ran the game at 144hz most of the time. No real issue there for me.

You need to learn new roast lines, used this one a bit too much in a single thread kiddo, also yes, I am dumb for posting answers to a handicapped OP. You're little bit too cocky for a dude who knows basic stuff about pc and unironically claims that he cleans ALL of his PCs lol
Sure dude, have your medal, but don't work overtime at gamestop, it's bad for mental health as it seems.
Lol basic stuff? How do you know that? You don't even know me and what I do for a living. Also, me saying cleaning my pc all the time is not a claim it's a fact, cleaning your pc is an easy task, everybody can and has do it. You didn't even try to understand what the real issue is, and yet, here you are barging in without a second thought and starts spitting out all kinds of nonsense. You know what, you're just another lÖser trying to act cool and all. Your answers/responses sÜcks and are totally irrelevant to the topic which kinda pissed me off if I'm being honest. I'd highly recommend just shutting your mouth up especially when you don't know what you're talking about cause doing the opposite can only make you look worse.

I already know the fix for it and that is to upgrade a low core count cpu with a higher core count cpu. I already mentioned it on my original post. I only came here to vent out really and consider this post to be more of a product review than an asking for help post cause, EA sÜcks and Apex Legends used to be a good game. Apex used to run smoothly on my laptops but now it's just like dog$hit, I know this cause I started playing Apex as soon as it was released in 2019.

Played with R5 1600AF + RX460 GB and got a reasonable game play, after that also played with 1600AF + RX6600 8GB, too. And got the same game play. Problem arises mostly server side and or connection in my second option.

RX460 used 1080p, RX6600 is still using 1440p.
This game runs like dookie no matter what i do. Ryzen 5800x rtx 4070 fe. 32 gigs of vengeance pro. All settings low. Have done regedits. Have changed the video config. Still get fps drops at 144hz on a 240hz monitor. Play the finaks at 240hz low settings and get 240hz the whole game....
