got ban for no reason, anyone met this happen?

because the bots are coded to report you, you kill 20 bots, that's 20 cheat reports, plus it's against their terms of service to do, so the ban is legit... it can take hours before your banned or 2 months. the bot lobbies are hackers/cheaters that force it to be a bot lobby in sertain servers, it's an illegal farm acording to terms of service.

I got banned for 7 days and I asked EA to show me the evidence for the ban. They declined my appeal and never got back to me and eventually it just let me randomly play one day.

So I stopped playing for a year or so and came back to a banned account. After escalating the ticket several times, I was able to get unbanned.

The chance that someone (often in china) gained access to your account while you were away. That's what happened to me. This was about a year and a half ago, mind you.

If that happens, you have to fight tooth and nail to get your account back. The forums will shut you down, and you'll probably end up having to open a tech support ticket. Be as calm and detailed as possible. Raging in some Indian guy's chat window isn't gonna get you unbanned. It sucks. EA is the absolute worst. They'll fail to protect your account, and then punish YOU for it.

The bots CANNOT report you. Bots reporting you was just a rumor that the community ran with. It was a glitch from EA's side. EA confirmed that accounts banned from bot lobbies was a bug and weren't supposed to be banned. The players that are getting banned is maybe cause they hack, abused too many bots (boosting is illegal) or chat issues. My own friend did farmed bots just for 1 badge more than 2 months ago and STILL isn't banned.
