You must be online when logging in for the first time HELP

I downloaded the game through steam for the first time and while logging in it says "You must be online when logging in for the first time".

What can i do to be able to play it?

Any chance your antivirus or firewall is filtering some requests?

nah you dont need a ea account to play on steam i played without one for years you only need the ea account if you wanted to send free stuff to your friends who will also need a ea account and be your friend on it

Dude, u literally can't play the game w/o the EA account, even on Steam.

unless they changed it to do this then i must have been playing a different game as i was playing without a ea account since season 10 and i only made a ea account so i could send some of the drops to my friends who wanted them
