When I played her on launch she could. idk if it was a bug on launch.
So, it isn't NONE of my options, it's most likely cheating.
It's between the good ol, summon loot from across the map (less likely)
Or a hack that heals them with a button press.
Otherwise, no idea.
So you were Seer or had a seer on your team tagged by their tactical and watched to shields regen, or instantly go from 0 to 100%?
1. an immediate shield swap (which could happen);
or,
2.1. a cheat that allows for the client to tell the server side that the shield core was swapped,
2.2. a cheat that allows for the client to replace the local variable related to the shield value which would update the server side with this false information.
or,
3. a bug with alter's ability that allows a shield core to be swapped remotely.
In the case of conduit, there could be some bug related to it, but the shield regen over time while out of combat normally.
Either way with regard to point 2- the server should never allow this, and if a shield swap packet is somehow sent to the server it should validate some additional information before allowing the server data to be updated (like: id of the target box looted for the core swap, a distance to that box, etc.) to make it harder to exploit.
If you have recordings of this I would suggest opening a ticket with Respawn/EA so that they might investigate the issue for a patch. If you were a researcher, traverse cheat site and tool information to see if likely suspects (functionality) exist to further provide information to Respawn/EA in your report. (For obvious reasons, user a virtual machine,if you intend to download anything, and a VPN when connecting to discord/IRC/website servers to mask your location)
It would be cool if R5Reloaded had information on which packets are client to server and server to client that could be investigated against; but they might not have this public information, and I don't already have any information regarding the specific packets used by the game. The above is only speculation from my past experiences.
