Maybe because your monitor is running at 60?

already did that, doesnt help either.. i tried to use RTSS and many other stuff but for some reason it just feels weird. I tried to use +fps_max 190 -fullscreen -forcenovsync -freq 144 -dev launch options and it also doesnt do anything :/

dont cap at 190, as far as i know they fixed the input lag above 190 fps so either cap your game at 144 or at 288, capping at 190 will result in a stuttery experience

You can always test by playing arena. If it runs better and feels like 144hz, then the problem is not on your end, but rather the servers. In battle royale even when i have high fps it still feels "sluggish" and not smooth. That's just how the game is i guess

You can try capping your fps to 144, that might help

that would explain why my game stuttered a lot on 190 but even after capping it at 146 it feels not smooth at all

more frames are equal to more up- and download, so maybe your internet is not good or you are playing in a region without servers. like south africa, they have to play on german servers. bad ping. and I guess 144 frames Versus 60 frames can make it feel worst.

since 2nd split has launched more people started having problems with game smoothness. Tons of streamers complain too but there is nothing you can do when this is all on devs end

Try lower your mouse hz to 500 or 250

Most likely your frametimes are suffering, you're also probably getting screen tearing. I had the same issues and the only way i fixed it was NVCP Vsync + Gsync capped 3 below my monitors refresh rate

Have you actually checked your FPS in realtime during the game?? what's the average?

From what you're saying, if Arenas is running fine but not BR, it's probably because you're running at a lower FPS there, due to it being more hardware demanding. Maybe you just have to lower your settings a bit.

All the time peaking around 190 drops to 160 max. There's no way its caused by it. Anyway, I feel like the game performs better on 1680x1050 than 1920x1080 native.
