taking forever to download after i finished

i downloaded the game and its just stuck on installing at 100%

i havent found one yet no but i did restart steam and now i have to redownload the game again

Just be patient. Same ♥♥♥♥ every update. Leave it alone, go do some chores, watch some videos, play other games. Next time you will be asking why it's stuck on 47% of installation. Just let this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game update itself on it's own.

My friend has this issue too, for multiple Seasons. I'm curious what is causing this. I had this happen once, I did something, I don't exactly remember what it was, because I was convinced it was on my end so I tried multiple things, it has since not happened. Nevertheless, my friend says it doesn't matter what type of hard-drive it is.

I used to think Steam has an issue deciding where to put the game if you have multiple directories for it, which was the case for me, because I had it on a HDD then moved it to an SSD. I thought, maybe some residual files are messing with Steam confusing it with the old directory. If I remember correctly, I made sure to remove all the directories from Steam and add them back again. If this was the fix, I don't know, but I've not had this happen anymore. This didn't work for my friend though.
