Victrix Pro bfg is recognized as Xbox one controller on pc inside Apex. Help!

Hello, I just bought the officially licensed PS4 controller called Victrix Pro BFG. On Steam Libary, it can recognize a PS4 or PS5 controller and show the PlayStation layout inside big picture mode. when I jump into the game, and no matter what I do, it always shows the Xbox layout, which is kind of annoying. It's also weird that a licensed PlayStation controller shows the Xbox layout in the game. Can someone help me figure something out? or is there just no way to have the game show the PlayStation controller layout in the game with this controller?

Hey, I have been trying to connect the controller and it is just not working. How did you get yours to connect?

also looking to fix this, as its looking i could of saved 150 and just bought a normal PS5 controller without all this hassle.
