same same hahaha. The match making is a mess , getting team up with 2 masters who don't know how to shoot. Stopped playing the game for 2 seasons, played the game cuz of the new patch. Didn't expect that the rank game will be boring.

It's just really a grind in bronze. I was diamond 2 last season and I got there being a worse player than I am now. Now I started from rookie 4 after winning 2 games in the placement matches and have been grinding since. It would be ok to get 50 minus points from a loss if kills really mattered but most games I get 1 point per kill. I'm currently in bronze 3

haven't played the 3last season and i still don't get any point for kills on my 2 accounts.
respawn devs are criminally bad at their jobs.

According to the current ranked distribution, a player with Master skill is currently in aprox Gold 1.

This is also crucially ignoring the fact a large amount of the players with a high rank this season are using hot market, so the real rank is probably closer to silver.

Well, that's not true. The last season ended on Master III rank, started this season on Rookie IV. Maybe it's somehow related to my S15-16 break, IDK.

Well then you have fell off, an average master player should end in plat this season, which is still absurd.

How it's possible if I've finished the S17 on Master and then started the S18 right on Rookie rank? Previous seasons are counted or did I miss something? Not really important, I'm just curious, because I'm not the only one who faced such a situation.

Oh, well it depends on your performance in your placement games, although you cannot place any higher than gold 1 after them as far as i am aware (which would be like 10 wins and 10+ TKP per game or something).

If you make the mistake of SoloQing them, you can place as low as rookie 1.

Also no, previous seasons are not counted atall, its all in those 10 games.

same my friend, i am a plat player normally (only played ranked for 2 seasons) and yeah everything you just stated if happening to me no matter how good i do in a game, the teammates never get better, just played a game then and got wiped by a 3 stack pred squad and i am in bronze 3 its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ grind this season, i am all for earning your place in the ranked leagues but this season is a joke.
