So, you are not describing this correctly -- you claim to have bought 60 packs (in total), which would have to yield 2 gold items.
Post the video evidence, then. But of the entire 60 loot box opening. Because what you say cannot happen and EA would actually be legally in trouble if it happened.
It is literally written IN THE GAME, on the Apex Pack shop.
I do not believe EA; if anything, I see the things that are left unsaid. But I know that European legislation requires lootboxes to have exact "odds" listed. This is why I am quite certain they would not dare break the promise of a guaranteed gold cosmetic per 30 opened boxes.
BTW, the European legislation is the reason why Heirloom packs (i.e., the apex pack that contains heirloom shards) are inserted before the apex pack you tried opening (and the pack you tried open is not consumed when you get an heirloom): If they did not do it like this, they would have to tell you what the odds are of getting an heirloom pack (which is probably in the order of 0.01% or less), and people would then hate on them, saying "EA requires you to buy ~2000 Apex Packs at 1 dollar each to have a reasonable chance of getting an heirloom!" But when they generate a random number secretly and INSERT a free Heirloom pack, they don't have to reveal the odds, they can just say "You are guaranteed to get an heirloom if you open 500 packs without getting one".
Pretty sneaky way to circumvent the legal requirements, wouldn't you say?
Walk in peace.
