tips from someone who's 93% better than you.

Before anyone cries, 93% better than you is for the ranked tier i'm in. i've been diamond every single season since season 10 when i started playing ranked.

1) moving left and right in a gun fight doesn't make you harder to hit at all.... neither does crouching on and off like this is COD. all its doing is taking away from your aim and your gun skill which from what ive seen is TERRIBLE for most player i end up fighting.

2) focus on your gun skill. stupid movement you aren't even utilizing right wont help you be better. relying on legend abilities you probably aren't using at the right time wont make you better. Get comfortable with every gun till you can reliability mag dump any mag into your enemy.

3) SITUATIONAL AWARENESS/ GAME SENSE IS A GOD SEND!!!!!!!!!!!! if you see a wattson has fenced ff a zip line up top..... don't be the idiot team who all take the zip t get stunned then wrecked by a wattson with a p2020...... its embarrassing. If you have a bloodhound on your team and hes tracking enemy's footsteps or using the raven... don't be the idiot that runs off in a different direction looking for enemies... you literally have a GPS on your team. follow it.
if you have a vantage on your team and see en enemy blinking red that means shes marked them which makes you do more damage to that target.... shoot them...

4) SOUND IS EVERYTHING. i use razer barracuda X and they're really good or apex. with the audio they prioritize i can hear you move. jump. open things, crouch, reload, anything you re doing i already know you're doing it and can pin point where you are based off that sound...

5) stop spending 497850843756 hours looting the same building that has nothing in it. land grab what ever gun is there (and if you did step 2 the gun doesn't matter) and start killing guys... right off drop i your best chance to rack up kills because they probably don't have guns or ammo. which means they're easy wipes.

6) learn your legends kit and use it SMART. don't throw a caustic ult for 4750843756098 miles away. capitalizing on its effects by pushing a team. tossing it in the middle of them well you're right there. then your team can pus and get the easy wipe.

7) if you play octane... stop stimming everywhere. all you re doing is entering a fight super disadvantaged by cutting your health pool down. it should be used when you knocked 1 or 2 enemies or they're cracked and you need to push before they heal... it should not be used to run 489-4386 miles in front of your team and down you instantly cause you set yourself up to fail.

8) focus on movement ONLY AFTER you can actually hit ♥♥♥♥. is movement that important? no... wall bouncing, tap strafing, etc are all super easy to track once you're in higher tier lobbies. so it might help you in those rookie lobbies but plat 1, diamond and masters its just a waste of time unless you're some sort of movement god. i wouldn't focus on doing stupid fancy movement. get your basics down and master them. you'll find movement players are easy pickings after that..

9) DO NOT under estimate the high ground or head glitches & and always be aware of where your closest cover is. i see FAR TO MANY of y'all take wide ass swings out in the open then get beamed and wonder why you died.... you became a super easy target. cover is your friend. play around it.

10) TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK. if you have something your teammates wants and aren't using it. give it to them. stop holding onto that purple energy mag when you're running light and heavy. if one of your teammates is an easy target that makes your whole squad an easy target. how so? because if two teams of equal skill are fighting and it becomes a 2v3..he odds just got worse in your favor. they're going to take that push from opposite directions and now you and your one alive teammate must shoot in 3 directions at once which you're most likely not going to do. if you find yourself i n that position reset to cover.. you can cut off sight lines of 1 or 2 enemies and focus on one at a time and you might be able to wipe the squad.

11) if you have a mic and the only time you say ♥♥♥♥ is when you go down cause you made a bad push alone...... ♥♥♥♥♥♥ quit. accept you aren't as good as you think you are and your teammates made the smarter call by pushing an unknown slowly.

12) if you don't have a mic, USE THE PING SYSTEM. ping ♥♥♥♥♥♥ everything. WITH THE APPROPRIATE PING. it might get annoying but you're giving useful info when done correctly.

13) if you do have a mic you need to be making call outs not talking about your stupid ass math test today. things like "bang up top. 45 blue." that tells your team bangalore is on the top floor and you hit her for 45 damage and she has a blue shield.. it takes less than 2 seconds to communicate these things and you need to be doing it. youll find your success with even randoms will vastly increase wen everyone calling out info. so many of yall take fights blind then wonder why you loose 90% of them.

14) Learn How To Dive And Travel Further

15)Legends With The Fortified Perk Have Extra survivabilty such as gibbys arm shield. if you have a rev. shoot him with silence and it disables his shield and wont let him place his bubble.

I know... They just rely on wallhacks and aimbots. They stand still firing or spam jump like in COD(I just recently witnessed this) when fighting close range.

Because they have no game sense AT ALL. No foresight. No tactical/critical thinking. NOTHING.

They don't watch teammates health bar to disengage/shield them/heal them.
They also refuse to relocate and GO AROUND the enemies. I tell everybody that. ALL THE TIME. Watch the map and go around to not get pinched between teams or mountains and enemies. But nooooo, let's stay here make noise, not killing anybody, wasting bullets/shields and getting 3rd partied. Yes that's so fun and clever!

And I can also clearly know who is cheating in my team. Not just the enemy. CLEARLY when I AM THE SCANNER/HUNTER and I don't see/hear sh!t(I have great audio) but they do and rush through smokes without caring and watching the vicinity. Because they have wallhacks that tell them the distance between opponents and them etc. They know when and who to push. It became much clearer playing Seer.
Sometimes they forget I can use antennas to scan enemies and I can see them rushing in enemies direction before I finish the scan.

Weirdly enough, almost none of them can clutch the endgame win when the 2 last squads are fighting. They don't watch the feed so they don't know when to push at the right time.
They get downed like a beach and spam pings on the enemy. LUL

This game is funny and sad at the same time. I mostly get disappointed but I get a good laugh from time to time.

Aim has already been show to be superior to movement. but go off.
Had stuck? Nahh. Couple games a night after work, my tank climbs consistently 😂 but go head and cry

Why waste time? Cause I do it in game as well. I’ve taken many randoms from bronze rank and play style and brought them to diamond as well. My buddy from work has never played a BR game. We played a few days of pubs. gave him coaching, he played ranked for the first time and out of 8 games he lost 1. Same thing for running into low lvl guys in pubs. I’ll give them tips to play there legend better, improve aim, positioning, looting, etc. and steadily watch them go from 1 kill a game. To 5+ kills consistently and get their first damage badge within the week. Can’t do it for everyone if I only say ♥♥♥♥ when in game with someone.

Low IQ / low skill dudes need A LOT of time to get into the details, movement, abilities and other stuff, so they can't kill anyone during the hot drop, especially with the first gun they have nearby. Not to mention that they need to loot FAST as hell to get this advantage and put it to work. Plus, we have a lot of cases when such players were punched to death, because they didn't know how to aim/track the closest targets and so on.

Firing range my guy…. If you undervalue the new firing range.. you’re doing yourself a massive disservice
