u cant do anything.
dont ask the EA support. they will give u useless tips to change ♥♥♥♥ on your system that wont do anything.
forums are full with posts about packet loss for years now.
For me Apex is the only game on the market that has this issue.
I had high ping issues before but never had packet loss issue until recent Winter Tide update. After that update, my game is utterly ruined and I don't know why I'm still playing it.
packet loss is more frequent and some rubberbanding here and there.
game also puts us on foreign servers in the US as EU players from time to time.
the server situation is ASS...I give u one tip - dont spend money on this game.
I stopped spending more money on this as I realised that nothing will change.
try server hopping. certain servers might work better than others.
I have Surfshark VPN, I tried playing this game with VPN several times before but the packet loss or high ping were never fixed.
Today, I tried MultiHop in Surfshark VPN and connected to nearby locations (I live in India and connected to Hong Kong via Singapore). Surprisingly, my recent few games were butter smooth with good enough ping and 0 loss.
I hope it helps and I'll do the testing by playing at different times because previously I used to get heavy loss during mid-nights. I'll update if I get the same issue again.
It was not me playing the game, it was the game playing with me.
I'm not a network engineer so this all is just from reading lots of articles & forums on this topic ;)
but a good & safe(!) VPN usually costs extra money..thats the down side. CyberGhost for example ~60 bucks for 2 years.
After testing by playing the game several times at different times, it seems the frequency of packet loss is reduced but NOT COMPLETELY FIXED.
Hopefully, the Season 16 update fixes this issue. Fingers Crossed.
