But yeah, actually one of the writers openly said that Wattson is on the spectrum, although that's old news.
Remember reading about it…actually a few years ago now.

Wattson IS autistic, but I don't think she's the thought-altering kind, like her thoughts wouldnt be influenced in a bizarre way, because in trailers and in game chapters you can see her be serious and smart, I think she just gets excited which is chill, but if she's in the galaxy's toughest bloodsport I don't think her autism would bring her to the point of influenced makeup.
look at the people in The Hunger Games on Panem
in the future everyone had weird styled fashion, facepaint odd clothing etc. so it shows that odd fashion is a go-to in the future.
