Apex is dead

As a previous Pred, as well as multiple time Masters apex is dead. Thousands of hours and the new Dev team doesn’t give a rats ass about anything but pumping their pockets.

I will seeking out a new FPS if anyone has suggestions.

Because something is popular it doesn't mean that it doesn't suck and the core aspects of the game are not broken?

The Dev's that originally developed the game are no longer there. The new devs are about as dumb as a brick. They care more about lining their pockets with useless reskins then actually focusing and fixing the core issues of the game.

It is not dead yet, since there are still a lot of people playing and spending money.
But the game is at the worst state it has ever been in and every season seems to be worse, so if they keep it up like this it will be yes.

For me the last straw was adding Eclipse, a trans-woman just to signal once more how liberal the creators of this game are. Everything up to that point you could stomach.

I just want them to remove controller play for PC..
In ranked I should be Q'd PC to PC with M&K the others shouldn't have a leg up on me in Close combat.. Its sad.

Nope.

I have read about a decline in the Xbox and Playstation as well, in regards to Steam it's now oscillating between 8th and 9th place in some periods during the day.

Peak players (which puts it between 4th and 5th place) seems to occur between 13:00 and 15:00. Outside these hours it's 40% at least below peak and drops as much as 77%.

Monthly peak players are hit once. Afterwards, daily peaks hit are 27% below that one.

It hit max 510k in August, dropped slightly in September to 497k and has been losing ever since (around 18% drop).

Number of hours played, it's now in 6th place.

Dropping fast.

It's not dead, at all. But between player count decline and server problems, more and more people are thinking about other games and dropping AL.

Respawn...as is typical, doesn't seem to care enough.

Beyond what you say (already very bad, due to mixing ideologies/politics with us gamers & devs - I agree about what type of "developers" they have become since the **ndemic happened)...

they really have a very bad record in regards to my community (which they helped destroy). They simply didn't give a rats ass about what was happening to Titanfall, and when it happened to Titanfall 2 the same happened - rats and asses all over again.

Only when a certain group of people decided to "attack" Apex Legends, Respawn's creme de la creme, did they do something...and even that was basically meaningless. Then they dangle some trinkets in front of our community (Titans may be coming to AL, a new legend, daughter of a great Titanfall 2 fighter coming to AL, etc).

It sucks.

They suck.

It just isnt hard to care about the community, simply isn't. Without the community you have no game. No game means no money no money well no jobs and working for another company and corrupting that one lol.

just wish they cared. They don't and it is a ongoing issue with the community as well as a couple others.
