FIX for GAME FREEZE
Disabling the Shader Cache on NVIDIA control panel and then turning it back on did the trick for me.

1. Open NVIDIA control panel.
2. Open the “manage 3D settings” tab of the NVIDIA control panel.
3. Scroll down to Shader Cache and turn it off.
4. Then, hit apply.
5. After hitting apply, go and turn the Shader Cache right back on.
6. Hit apply again to save the setting.
7. Restart PC and run the game.

my crashes and freezes were fixed after deleting ALL start commands for Apex in Steam..at least for now :lunar2019crylaughingpig: :lunar2019piginablanket:
didnt have a single crash or freeze this evening.

Another thing might be to stay on the lobby screen when the match starts (thats what I did the whole evening). AVOID being in any other sub menu like loadout, legends etc. when the match starts.
Might also be related to the new UI. one dev asked users with crashes on reddit if they have been in any menu when the match started.

to help the devs figure out whats wrong u can use this start command for Apex:
+watchdog_time_milliseconds 30000

when a freeze or crash happens wait 30 sec. then a pop up SHOULD show asking to hit Retry or Cancel. u have to select CANCEL. this will send a report to Respawn.
(from a dev on reddit)
