Tired of seeing these clout seeking nerds edit config files to get movement advantages in lobbies and then post clips as if they're gods or something for manipulating files to move unnaturally. Honestly some of the most toxic stuff to be seen. At least people like timmy or aceu or tap strafe do it naturally instead of changing files.

From what I heard theres no macro involved and it's not bannable. It's only banned in competitive tournaments but idk if its against tos to alter config files

For you info changing config files ARE banble - but hard to prove. You should change stuff only in game settings (changing congif files for diff resolutin etc than in game setting is BANNABLE)

I'd argue that linking dozens of cfg files, which is necessary for neo strafing could be considered a macro.

People "cheating" in any way is disgusting and 'y but what are you trying to be a pro gamer or some thing? Why not just stop worrying about it and play the game and when you stop having fun play some thing else.

config files should be stored on the server and each time you boot up the game it should just overwrite whatever you have.

And the parameters within the config file should have restrictions and limits that would reset if they are considered outliers.

No offense but you prolly got ♥♥♥♥ once or twice and only once or twice from someone using neostrafing and that enough was what inspired this comment. less then the 1% of the 1% (its actually considered to be .1%) of people who actually can neostrafing. Just re q for another match and go again.

No I have not encountered anyone neostrafing cause it is now getting popular and I have not played enough to encounter people. Make baseless assumptions do make my point less valid when quite literally this mechanic isn't intended nor should it stay in the game. It's fine though I can play something else instead of expecting the devs to fix a problem?

These are some dog water takes. It doesn't take experience to want to fix or solve a problem before experiencing it yourself. Unlike you i want this game to stay relevant and healthy. There's reason its banned in 3rd party tournaments.

This movement "tech" isn't viable at higher levels. You're better off tapstrafing.

nahhh it was reported to EA for age, mate. the problem is even it have a hard evident from pro players. this problem not just came from a hole of tech. but also came from bug, lag and how hitbox of source engine work (which is can't be fixed).
