[LINUX/PROTON] config question
Hello people out there!
i was wondering if i can tinker with apex's video config file just like on windows. on windows the config usually located at users>respawn>apex, is there even a config file? or am i just blind...

if people with bad pcs spent all the time they spend trying to make things run better on their pcs they would be rich.

The answer to the question is yes. In your steam apps folder, you should have a "compatdata" folder. (one for each steamapp folder if you have multiple drives.) In that folder, you will see a bunch of numbers. Those are steam game id's. Apex's ID is 1172470. Inside there, you will find pfx folder, then a drive_c folder. That drive_c folder is the "wine" folder, so after that the config files should be in the same location. So user/steamuser/Saved Games/Respawn/Apex

gamemoderun DXVK_ASYNC=1 %command%

i do use gamemode, but never used dxvk launch option before...thanks for the info! will try later!

this might be dangerous with online games and doesn't work on vanilla DXVK and Proton.
