why cant you buy the battlepass through steam

you can buy the legend packs and all that thorugh steam. Is it cus they dont want Steam to get a percentage of in game purchases?

I remember Steam purchase being fine previously. It seems to have broken at end of last season. Respawn likes breaking stuff as much as they try to fix stuff.

Spend money on apex coins > get all apex coins back by reaching lvl 97
they dont want to break the loop where you earn worth more than they get (/w steam taking extra cut)

You can buy everything from Apex through Steam. At least in EU. But it seems like few ppl have Problems with that. Dont know if this is an Option in Steam, that need to be activated. Do you have 2-Way Authentification active? Steam Overlay active?

it just says steam overlay is not enabled when it is. Its like the game is blocking the overlay.
Nevermind its owrking now, thats weird.

You can do it, it just sends you to add money to your steam wallet first tho.

I have my overlay disabled and it let me use my steam currency to buy coins, is it still bugged for you?
