it def will, they're unstoppable. I'm ok to play with bow, and versus bow users. Two things i'd changed is draw time (SLIGHTLY increase it, so tempo hop-up made more sense) and remove shatter caps (or make them interchangeable, just to reduce versatility of this weapon). This is how far i can concede for people whining. If Respawn will nerf it more than this, i swear to God i'll spam the ♥♥♥♥ out of discussions with "BUFF BOW!1!!1!" threads, bc this is most fun/rewarding waepon to use rn.
The wingman was already an idiotic weapon, because; while its skill floor is high, it provides extremely high and outsized benefits if you can use it. Faster movement speed and damage than any other gun in the game? Got it. Huge headshot multipliers? Yes. Effective at all ranges? Yes. This is a compounding effect that makes using other weapons, if you can muster the Wingman, pointless. The CORRECT way to manage weapon balance is that a player with superior skill would be on a linear plane compared to his inferiors, regardless of what weapon he uses with some perturbations for imperfect balance. But the wingman and the vibecheck are entirely in a class of their own.
Now we have the vibecheck to ruin the entire game. I won't be playing until its fixed. Which will be in about 3 months I assume.
Yes. That's the point of high-skill level weapons, to be really rewarding when you master them.

Yeah high skill level weapons should make you uninstall the game. Come on, the problem of the bow is that it's not HIGH SKILL to begin with, it's easy to use with a lot of reward. It's waaaaaaay easier than the wingman when it's literally an upgrade of it.
That's the reality of it too. The bow is better than just about any weapon of it or a similar class with little to no downside (what happened to rare ammo eh?) to the point that its a mistake to leave one behind. There's no reason to use any other long range weapon except for the Kraber, that being the one weapon arguably better because not much beats instakill headshot. Every game being a bow spamfest is just not fun. Its repetitive. Sure, I can enjoy using it but equally so I get annoyed getting attacked by it. Those of you that will counter with crap like "don't be out of cover when your shields are broken" or "just push them because the bow is bad close range" can shut themselves now because this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ map we're locked in on has more open fields than any other map. I felt obligated to run a sniper before the new season on this map and now feel obligated to run a bow because the only sniper worth using is care package only.
Decidedly incorrect, its quite literally the opposite of good balance. If you create a weapon with a high skill floor that has not only massive offensive but also massive defensive benefits, then all you've done is hard gate performance at an arbitrary threshold. The expected outcome for a skilled player against an inferior player is the skilled player will win in most circumstances. All this does is limit the choices of the skilled player (why use anything else, it literally makes you easier to kill) and arbitrarily end the game for the less skilled player.
All that to say, and this is an old balance problem in online gaming really, when something over-preforms; it kills the entire rest of the game's kit. "why use anything else" means every fight turns into "who is the best at this gun". At that point you've reduced the complexity of the exchange so much you might as well just see who's average accuracy score is higher and give them the win as soon as the match starts.
50 cal BMG can travel 1225 ft per second, roughly 1700 mpg.
But in here, the arrow travels about as fast as the Kraber.

increasing the draw time is my ONLY thing that i wish for it but people will still complain about getting 2 shot but thats whatever. really the reason they have shatter and dead eye is because there is virtually nothing else (besides a scope) that you can place on it. they want it to be that versatile so its not just one thing. which i understand but to get the GREAT damage from shatter you have to be right on top of the enemy. this is why i said that mod is garbage because any person with a shotgun or smg will kill you faster befor you kill them. the spread for scatter is redick.
you say this yet ive SO MANY people that cant hit with the bow to save their life. also you do know theres only 3 upgrades for it, TWO of them being modes right?
