Not really. You'd have to be able to predict if it will be you who rounds a corner to spot an enemy, or the other way round, and somehow throttle your network connection accordingly.
Yeah, it's a good read & pretty rare for devs to share that kind of info in such a manner. Believe they got a Q&A about servers at reddit if people are interested in that.

Unavoidable yet every other game can avoid it. What a load of bullsh*t.
Every game suffers from this problem when there are latency issues.
If they cut that number down to under 200 there'd already be a significant improvement.
Netcode has been made near perfect, if you want to spend the $$$
Servers run fine for me but Respawn lazy asf
