Worlds edge is boring asf

I find it funny that 90% of Apex players were sick of King's Canyon and wanted World's Edge back towards the end of season 8, and now we are starting to see the reverse with posts like this.

Likewise, I remember at the end of Season 7 people were begging for King's Canyon to return after months of World's Edge.

It's like the Apex Community is bipolar.

Oh should also mention the constant whinging about how Olympus is the worst map ever and Respawn should delete it.

human nature really, at least for those who are stimulated by new things rather than be satisfied with the core game itself

World's Edge is by far the worst map of Apex Legends, that map made me abandon the game time ago (many of the Apex players tried to make Respawn understand that is not good map, even with changes and other updates stuff) but I came back to this season and Olympus is OK. I just want King's Canyon back, it was the best experience. If World's Edge is in rotation (currently active) I just not play the game.

I also don't like Worlds Edge, its my least favourite map.
I don't like none of the places, and the loot is terrible in certain zones.

I never thought that someday I was gonna close the game and wait for the next map to be available to play, but that's what i'm doing. Oh well

olympus is probably by far one of the best maps. People play too sweaty on worlds edge and final circles are always make you feel like you're in a tournament, King's canyon is alright I suppose but is just annoying that there is not much you can do about third parties even with good game sense. Olympus you got safe areas and good line of sights, loots not too far from each other and neither are fights and the map has good feeling fights with terrain.

Loot was just right a few seasons ago but they keep adding crap and destroying the pool.

When the game released back in season 0 you could go into a little house with 3 loot points and come out fully kitted in blue or better with at least 1 decent weapon, teams did not separate on drop because it was not even necessary, one or two houses and everyone was ready for a fight

They they kept nerfing the loot again and again, by the time world's edge came out you had those situations where you could loot the entire market "high quality" POI at king's canyon and have nothing better than white armor and dual mozambiques

World edge had way more loot points so it was just right at that point, then they added sniper ammo and that seriously hurt the pool, too much crap around, then kept adding redundant weapons and making the fun guns rarer, now they added a new ammo type.

The recycler felt like it help a little in season 6 but it was back to crap on season 7

Taking out white items was a good idea but wtf did they not remove the bagpack, white armor and white attachments ? The pool needs a serious trimming

The popups are another stupid thing, instead of doing just a couple of popups that go into every weapon and have different effects on them, making them worthwhile for everyone (and causing everyone to carry one) they keep making them extremely specific so they are essentially crap loot unless you happen to have the weapon they go into

The line of sights are exactly what makes Olympus crap, you always get third partied, on the best case one cheeky sniper shooting at you, on the worst case they just come near and back stab you as you try to heal.

With most randos overlooting (YOU DO NOT NEED TO KEEP LOOTING WHEN YOU ARE KITTED IN PURPLE, FULLY LOADED WITH AMMO AND HEALTH) and not disciplined enough to move on quickly from fights there is nothing you can do
