all anyone really tries to say about controllers is that the aim assist, that is strongest at short range, in a battle royale game with assault, marksman and sniper rifles, is overpowered
Most of the players in master pred and on top streamers abuse the ♥♥♥♥ out of AA tho.
People are comfortable with M&Kb , but that's because we ain't poopity heads who abuse AA.
Just remove the AA completely from PC and I'm fine, leave it for the console players since they have capped fps.
Mnk is superior in every way cause if it wasn't they wouldn't have something like aim assist.
That does not mean controller players are bad.
I played apex on release on PC then played season 2-9 on Playstation and then came back to pc.
A Mouse just gives you so much more control.
Playing with a controller is more comfortable tough and there are some players that are godlike with a controller.
For example iTemp plays on PC now with a playstation controller and he literally mops the floor with people.
The only change I would suggest is them making the console aim assist the same as the PC one. Its fine on PC and no reason to be as strong as the console version.
It's really not hard to get close to someone in a game that lets you fling your self 100ft through the air. Or teleport. Or fly. Or just wait behind cover for the game's primary mechanic to force a short range fight.
If we're talking about raw input then it's Mouse and it's not even close. Controller Pros would struggle to beat just above average Mouse idiots if they didn't have aim assist.
