Wattson is kinda underpowered, isn't she?

I'm only seeing her in the state she is now and never saw her when she got released, I can't help but feel like she's one of those characters that was okay on release but made people so salty that she got nerfed into oblivion.

The fences don't really do any damage at all and with such a robust parkour system and many characters with mobility abilities they're almost completely pointless at actually alerting you to incoming enemies as well.

The ultimate is just "okay," but is really situational and can't be used throughout the match. It's for the end-of-round clutch when the ring is closing in on you and that's basically the only time it's useful. Any other time being static enough for it to reach you is a death sentence and its rate of shield regen is incredibly slow as well.

It's just a little disappointing.

It's just her tactical that's garbage. Everything else about her is great.

Her tac needs a rework, but Respawn has been refusing because her "winrate is so high so she's fine." Have they considered her win rate is so high because she has one of the LOWEST pick rates in the game? Only Crypto and Rampart have lower pick rates than her.

pretty sure lifeline has the smallest hit box not Wattson .

I have played Wattson more than any other Legend. I have the most kills as her. I have the most experience with her. I think she's adorable, I love her sprays and the funny little emote that lets you put a nessy down.

But the fences DO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ NOTHING.

It's INFURIATING.

Other legends have a tactical ability that can do SOMETHING. Grappling hooks or energy lifts or invisibility or putting up a wall.

All Wattson gets is a FENCE that does NOTHING and recharges UNBEARABLY SLOWLY.

No, it does WORSE than nothing. If it did NOTHING it'd be at least something to do while you wait for enemies. But it does worse. It shows EVERYONE WHERE YOU ARE FOR MILES.

Yea this is my opinion too, she's such a cute character I don't care what abilities she has. Just wish maybe she'd get more love in terms of balance. She's my main and always will be, but an actual useful ability would help.

I like using her. Saved our asses a lot of times when Gibby or Banga ults started to rain down on us.
As for fences... I like to use them as a zoning tool. While my team holds the enemy back, I lay down a zigzag pattern, and put my ulti behind cover. Also, you can use the generator as cover to peek out from. They will think twice about pushing us if we retreat. What I'm struggling with is fencing on more open fields.
If I need to escape, I drop a quick zigzag behind me, that will get me time to make distance or recharge shields.
Of course you can beat her, like anything else. But shes the only defensive character I synergize with.

This is in CASUAL as I don't play ranked, but even with the randoms I can have fun. And thats the most important thing. To have fun.

Its same with gass guy. Its about maps. You got 2 maps that are just huge empty plains while these heroes are designed for cqc. You didnt noticed this much when there was KC in rotation since these 2 heroes are actually usefull along whole map in KC.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but she hasn't been nerfed? Fences used to only do 10 dmg, they now do 15. She gained a very slow passive shield regen, although slow, is noticeable. She's an amazing legend but severely underrated. She is "balanced."

In fact she has been buffed. The problem is the meta changed towards movement, if everyone goes fast in and out, fences are not enough to stop them.

What's more, even in the "pro scene" where they take things slower in some cases where they really need to hold a position, they still need to rotate something that Watson does not help with.
You NEED BH because the info is absurdly important. You NEED Gib because the dome and his passives are way too good to ignore. So what do we get for the third slot? Something that helps with rotation, Octane/Valk/Wraith/Path. Watson won't fit the meta until Gib/BH get nerfed because these two are disgustingly overpowered.
