How do people sidestep so fast?

People A-D against me so frequently and they move so fast while doing it, yet when I do it I literally don't move anywhere. How?

Most likely because they don't ADS when doing so. You lose like 70% of your speed when ADS.

I don't ADS either but I still don't move as fast as them. And I forgot to mention, it's not Octane players

Using light weapons, like SMGs, and small frame characters should do the trick.

They don't move faster than you, the movement animaitons just look swifter hitboxes are sitll the same as yours

Go into arena and use the 3rd person easter egg (google it if you don't know how).

Then start different movements, you'll see some animations are harder to hit than just pressing A-D. Also, combine moving your mouse in unpredictable ways & crouching when reloading/shooting will confuse people.

The bigger the weapon the slower the ADS strafe from pistols (fastest) to LMGs (slowest) but, they all have the same speed without ADS.

There was a bug a few days ago where it didn't let me switch characters in firing range, but I just checked and it's working fine now. You're welcome.

you are probably strafing in opposite directions so it seems like they are strafing faster than they ae. You probably look the same on their screen.

Strafing you kids need some education into all of this.

PC Users have set their Camera sensitivity to their look sensitivity and some will use no recoil cheat or aimbot so to speak.

Controllers/Console players we are at a disadvantage due to our thumb-sticks vs single keys + any toggle cheat menu( which is seconds away form W,A,S,D)
