Anti Cheat - Untrusted system file steamclient64.dll

Can't launch the game, keep getting "anti cheat - untrusted system file steamclient64.dll" and steam warning - "apex legends is attempting to launch with optional parameters"

what should i do? reinstall the game?

Edit 1: most likely the steam client update problem, just wait until they fix it

Edit 2: you can play it on origin with no problem

I had my IRL friend sended me the steamclient64.dll
Since he was ingame already his steam was not updated yet.
So, he sended me the steamclient64.dll
I replaced steamclient64.dll while Steam is launched already
in my "x:\Program Files (x86)\Steam"

and I am able to play now!

Recommand to only use .dll of IRL people you know and trusted

I saw some other post saying similar thing about the .dll, please careful if you use an file from someone else you don't know.. I would not recommand that.

Edit 4: Browse Apex Legends local files, open the properties of EasyAntiCheat_launcher and r5apex, check "Administrator" in the compatibility tab, and press Apply. Then you can start it

Can confirms this works. Scanned the file and it's not a virus. Just copy and replace it in your Steam folder and you're good to go!

If you can't start it well with APEX AntiCheat, open "Local Files" from Steam, open the properties of EasyAntiCheat_launcher and r5apex, check "Administrator" in the compatibility tab, and press Apply. Then you can start it!

I went in the local files and instead of repairing anticheat i uninstalled it and then reinstalled anticheat and launched my apex and it seems to be working fine so far I've managed to launch it twice now
