If being passive is your play style then by all means keep playing that way but you're never going to get better as a player if you're not willing to risk your life when the stakes are high. Just play premades and be content with one kill as a squad in top 3, I wouldn't mind 1v3ing your squad when your squad hasn't seen any action for 10+ minutes.
I played a game just yesterday with a "mrpactoast" who was crying all match about how we weren't finding any fights, the second we hear gunfire we head for it, my squadmate and I hold back because we notice that the ring is closing while 2 enemy squads are fighting. We decide to wait roughly 10 seconds for the ring to close so the enemy squad/s has no choice but to run through open terrain to get out of the ring. Well mrpactoast couldn't handle our "passive playstyle" and rushes blindly into the open terrain right as the ring starts to close and the enemy starts pushing forward, he get's downed immediately while my teammate and I comfortably pick off the squad while they're stuck in the ring. Of course mrpactoast immediately disconnected after dying.
That happens literally all the time, if you think actually making good tactical decisions is a "passive playstyle" then you will never get better at this game because it's not just about shooting people, it's about movement and knowing when and where to move to so that you can always have the advantage on your opponents.

There's a difference between rushing in blindly versus staring at paint dry. If you have a head and know when to engage there's no reason not to unless your hardstuck bronze. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against players of your skill level but it's hard to compare engagements from bronze to the rest of Apex as it doesn't reflect the game; however one thing is certain, no matter your rank you'll still get bot players in your unrated matches.
they are not a high skilled player if they drop solo and die xD i dont care what the stats say it just means they play the game a lot
