The selfish, naive fools who populate this game

Seriously, what is wrong with vast numbers of players who solo queue in this game? Far too often I get absolute morons in my teams who just run off and die, or hot drop and die. Or think they are Rambo.

Like why the hell join a trios game to play totally solo and run off alone thinking you can beat every squad? Clearly these kids been watching too many streamers and think they can 1v3 every squad they come up against. Simply put, in my limited experience from solo queues, when you stay together and coordinate you win, when you separate you die.

The selfishness of people is so sad and seems allegorical to modern life. It's like "I've got a purple shield and my gun and ammo so I'm alright let's go here" (proceeds to F off). You don't need to go at a million miles an hour all the time.

Same can be said for looting. Anyone else get annoyed when you open a crate a someone who is meant to be on your team loots the crate right under your nose? If I see my teammate looting a crate, I'll loot the one next to him or wait until he's done.

It's so annoying. I know most of these are likely to be children but damn there is no teamwork or mutual respect. Ironically two things most important in any team based competition.

You need to keep up is not an excuse for being a selfish player. The best team players in any team game work for the good of the team. If I see someone is lagging behind, I don't just keep bombing off and engaging in gunfights alone. I'll regroup with the team.

If we drop in a zone with 3-4 other squads, the times we survive are either:

1. We have someone who is absolute godly who can survive even if the other two get downed, can get banners res and then just win it alone with other two passengers. probably 1-100 times.
2. We all drop in the same place, lockdown an area together create angles stay close.

We die when:

1. One person decides to run off and loot leaving the area.
2. everyone drops into different buildings.


Are people seriously so thick that they don't see that? That is the experience 9 times out of 10. Yet 1 or 2 in every 5 games I play, I get this. I'd say 60% of the players I find myself matched with are selfish players. Level 400 with some cool looking badges doesn't mean anything. It doesn't mean you should play like a spoilt brat. I'm level 45. Half of the characters I have have no badges. So what? I have a K/D of 1.2, I'm pretty average but we're gonna do a lot better if we play as a team. You're getting matched with me, play like a team player not a fool.

I agree with your statement as well, However I rarely queue solo and only play with my friends. On the other side of selfishness, I can't stand it when enemy players try and greed kills mid fight. Like, you're getting beamed left and right and you're still trying to get a measly kill on me. I understand it when you're low on shield and have no meds and need the quick shield swap, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ focus on your team.

Dont forget the retarded octanes in arenas that run straight into the enemy and get mowed instantly

As always angry biased option. Those are top picked heroes and you see them almost all the time, so obviously you see them doing that more often than other heroes. But whatever, just be angry and keep your illusionary enemy if you wish.

I totally agree with this post. Same goes for arenas, there's no chance you're going to 1v3 an entire team with a standard RE-45 and Mozambique as an Octane first round, and most certainly not by directly running into them, at least try to flank, or work with your team and use communication.

I can understand that logic (to an extent) if both enemy teams were fresh in there bout but I knocked a pathfinder with 2 arrows (120dmg), n killed a loba with 1 (60dmg). I dont know about them but i didn't start up my pc, loaded up apex to loot for guns n ammo then run from an fight especially one where we are the 3rd party so hats a potential of 2 teams erased. They literally stayed on the high ground we were at when i fired my arrows n watched me finish off the 2 teams, Its like WTF are you playing ranked let alone a gun game

It's like the people play this to camp and not to engage. They won't get any better in this game by just camping it out.

Nah not biased. Wraith players have been the salt of this game and most of the people playing wraith took it since they are bad players and wraith had buggy hitboxes together with the smallest hitboxes and her leaning so it was almost impossible to hit her in the head when she was running away.
Just like the wraith players always do if they take one hit.
Panic Q and off they go.

My main issue is that they do not communicate their decision to run off in any way. Like if you don't want to loot much and run in to battle its okay, let your teammates know with at least a ping. Like I get being antisocial in not going outside and stuff but even in a video game you can't just ping or type "hey guys I want to fight?!" or something like that? Seriously?!

Also obviously there are always those people who watched too many streamers and pro players and think they can 1v3 like them.

Well, this is the type of game that people don't play seriously, espec in normal games. You do not have ANY motivation(XP or any other benefits) to tryhard, so it s quite natural that nobody cares. I used to feel like you do, but at the end it is better to spend time being productive in job or programming than playing the game at which personal skill means nothing and you are only viable inside well communicated team. That's why i wanted solos in this game and less TTK so third partying and fortune with team means less in terms of winning fights :P
