The selfish, naive fools who populate this game

Seriously, what is wrong with vast numbers of players who solo queue in this game? Far too often I get absolute morons in my teams who just run off and die, or hot drop and die. Or think they are Rambo.

Like why the hell join a trios game to play totally solo and run off alone thinking you can beat every squad? Clearly these kids been watching too many streamers and think they can 1v3 every squad they come up against. Simply put, in my limited experience from solo queues, when you stay together and coordinate you win, when you separate you die.

The selfishness of people is so sad and seems allegorical to modern life. It's like "I've got a purple shield and my gun and ammo so I'm alright let's go here" (proceeds to F off). You don't need to go at a million miles an hour all the time.

Same can be said for looting. Anyone else get annoyed when you open a crate a someone who is meant to be on your team loots the crate right under your nose? If I see my teammate looting a crate, I'll loot the one next to him or wait until he's done.

It's so annoying. I know most of these are likely to be children but damn there is no teamwork or mutual respect. Ironically two things most important in any team based competition.

You need to keep up is not an excuse for being a selfish player. The best team players in any team game work for the good of the team. If I see someone is lagging behind, I don't just keep bombing off and engaging in gunfights alone. I'll regroup with the team.

If we drop in a zone with 3-4 other squads, the times we survive are either:

1. We have someone who is absolute godly who can survive even if the other two get downed, can get banners res and then just win it alone with other two passengers. probably 1-100 times.
2. We all drop in the same place, lockdown an area together create angles stay close.

We die when:

1. One person decides to run off and loot leaving the area.
2. everyone drops into different buildings.


Are people seriously so thick that they don't see that? That is the experience 9 times out of 10. Yet 1 or 2 in every 5 games I play, I get this. I'd say 60% of the players I find myself matched with are selfish players. Level 400 with some cool looking badges doesn't mean anything. It doesn't mean you should play like a spoilt brat. I'm level 45. Half of the characters I have have no badges. So what? I have a K/D of 1.2, I'm pretty average but we're gonna do a lot better if we play as a team. You're getting matched with me, play like a team player not a fool.

I'd take people who stay on JM and lock down an area and methodically eliminate squads over a twitchy ttv 20 bomb wraith running around with banners any day

Just learn to not care about randoms nor expect anything from them or depend on them. Just play like solo and have them like distraction for enemies.

Yeah it happens, happens to me all the time when I'm with 12kills and shoot someone low and my teammate can barely do 50dmg, but what can you do.

At least those players are aiming to get better by constantly seeking action.

If you are talking about dmg output you are completely missing the point. If you can't play as a team player you shouldn't join team games plain and simple. It's fine to seek action just don't do it on your own, die and quit.

It does bother me that these "lone wolves" decide to join a team and play like they're playing solo, which is mostly ditching their teammates to be solo, until they get knocked down and dc. Yes, I understand that you like to play solo, but why join a team and screw them over? Did they forget to uncheck the fill teammates box? If so, they should just work with their teammates instead of ditching them. However, I do hate that they insult their teammates for not keeping up with them even though one of them is standing next to them.

It's already bad enough that I can barely keep one teammate before they disconnect. I would start off with 2 teammates, but one of them would be revealed to dc after introducing the champion. As I'm about to jump, my last teammate disconnects because either they don't want to play duos or angry that the disconnected teammate or I took their legend.

But screw that, most of the times people who I party with are camping the last zone like their life depends on it, never wanting action, never wanting fights.
I rather go solo hunting than hide with rest of the team and wait for the opportunity to 3rd party and get that 1 kill so they can win.

You can't K/D exploit without having a team, so solo queuing is not an option for K/D exploiters.

Because half the time my teammates want to spend every waking moment of their life looting. I don't play this game to sit around waiting 5 minutes for my squad to finish up looting.

I can't even tell you how many times I've watched my teammates RE-LOOT the same stinkin' box!!!

So I'm out of there. I'll go play the actual game, and if I die alone, I don't care. I'll exit to the lobby immediately and leave y'all to your loot-lust.

I just played a ranked match with randoms and we landed in an okay spot worked well together looting, making sure we got good ammo, nades, heat shields & at least 1 beacon. We come across 2 teams doing battle, I ping lets attack here then fire a couple of arrows into a pathfinder and a hear a team mate say don't engage we want to win.

I can understand that logic (to an extent) if both enemy teams were fresh in there bout but I knocked a pathfinder with 2 arrows (120dmg), n killed a loba with 1 (60dmg). I dont know about them but i didn't start up my pc, loaded up apex to loot for guns n ammo then run from an fight especially one where we are the 3rd party so hats a potential of 2 teams erased. They literally stayed on the high ground we were at when i fired my arrows n watched me finish off the 2 teams, Its like WTF are you playing ranked let alone a gun game
