Engine Error 0x887a0007 DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_RESET
I keep getting that error saying 0x887a0007 DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_RESET. The device failed due to a badly formed command. This is a run-time issue; The application should destroy and recreate the device.

I keep getting that error every now and then when playing battle royale, it almost never happens on Arenas and NEVER in firing range or lobby. What happens is that my game freezes and I dont even get a black, white or a bluescreen. I literally get any other colour screen lmao. I literally have to spam ctrl+alt+delete to get the message otherwise the whole PC just restarts. After that my GPU fans stop spinning for some reason.

I've tried updating Windows 10, the Nvidia Drivers (I have a 970 GPU). I even have the game on lowest settings but nothing seems to help and im out of options except buying a new GPU (if that even will solve the problem).

Edit: Im not that keen on PC's or stuff like that so keep it as simple as possible :)

Installed AMD adrenalin driver for specific graphics adapter and the dxdiag does show both the WIndows driver and the AMD graphics adapter (card). Though witch one is causing the error is still unknown to me but since the AMD adrenalin driver is new and the WIndows driver was previously installed and it still crasshes with DXGI_ERRO_DEVICE_RESET then it cant be the Adrenalin driver.
Also changed the value for a certain registry key for the graphics adapter, the only difference is that the screen would not reload but it still stoped.
Typically the game stops a second or two after launch, same spot.
This did happen before and I uninstalled and reinstalled Apex when updates were rolled out and that worked until the next update came through and it stoped again.

This does also happen with non-game applications that use the graphics adapter at a moderate level, I say moderate bc it does not do it with videos. Other programs are Adobe products.

I did rollback the driver and then tried that one and it didnt work, then update driver and it worked. Reset computer and stoped working again. I tried to rollback the driver again and the option was greyed out, meaning I could roll back like before.

Looking arround for DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_RESET help on google it seems that Direct X is responsible for rendering. I have Direct X 12, the latest. I have not found a way to uninstall, rollback and then reinstall direct x. If i did I also feel that my screen would not load anyways and I would just have a blank screen bc i wiped my drivers.

Any ideas nerds...

I have:
AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT
Ryzen 7
Apex problem

I also have another AMD/Windows machine with older hardware and drivers and that never fails.
