less accurate using a joystick than a mouse?
I thought pc players only fought pc players?
Sorry I meant controller on PC vs console. Console players have stronger aim assist than a controller on PC. I don't understand the logic of it. Do they just want to punish people on PC because they feel like they should be using a mouse and keyboard?

So maybe console players need to grow a pair and build a PC.
you know, you're right. why doesn't every console player just pull funds outta their rears to buy parts, or better yet go out scavenging for hard pieces of metal in hopes of making a functioning computer out of it? seriously, the audacity of console players can be absolutely mind boggling at times I'm super glad someone else can see that.

but you do have a point about being allowed to disable crossplay. it's a simple solution, and it definitely sounds simple on paper, but sometimes it might not be.
Talked to a few console players and according to them, they only play PC lobbies because they can get 2x K/D there compared to console. Apparently it's strong enough to warrant playing only PC lobbies.
Personally I think it's stupid to put console and pc together, there's literally no comparison and Respawn has to basically put in a cheat in order to make it somewhat balanced.

could it also be because of the player count not being as high as it was before? I played when caustic and mirage were the only unlockable characters, so way back when, and I think the game was booming at the time, so maybe crossplay wasn't included. if it was implemented at a later update, then I assume it was to try and keep matchmaking more alive by adding more variety of players into the pool. but yeah, there still needs to be an option to disable cross play. never knew how the aim assist was.
The aim assist SHOULD be identical for controllers regardless of platform, they are both controllers. Why then is aim assist stronger on console controllers? Did they give consoles a completely arbitrary buff just to make them feel better?
In the next season, aim assist will be the same for console and pc controller users (console will go from 0.7 aim assist factor to 0.4, same as pc controller. 1 aim assist factor is equal to perfect aimbot). Still will favor controller users in close range but the usual console player will have to be slightly better at the actual game to pull off their 2.0 KD

I believe the sole purpose was to assist those who use controllers. that's obvious right? but I think they designed it to be better for console players because they know for fact that console players are using controllers, whereas the PC port isn't always a guarantee. this does sound like a huge flaw for sure, but I think I can see the logic they were approaching this design choice with.

That's good news hopefully they can also fix their trash netcode to stop console players from shooting people around corners but that's probably not slated until 2025

This, im sick of it, thought i left console behind when i switched to pc, but no, guess the game is that dead it needs this function for a stable player base

console aim assisted and pc aim botters, joke of a game now

Aim assist isn't enabled at all on PC. Play it on an Xbox and play it on PC, you'll see... especially on the low end Xbox's that have terrible framerate problems, the game basically aims for you anyway.

It is enabled. 0.4 aimbot factor on PC controller, 0.7 on console. (1 being perfect aimbot). Theres a reason pro players switch to controller on later rings: the pc controller still has good aimbot in close range

playing with both keyboard and mouse and controller (pc player)

controller has a SIGNIFICANT assist like..i get no recoil playing with a controller than playing with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ mouse and keyboard its pretty insane how almost aim bot it is
