I never report anybody for things they say, they can curse in whatever manner pleases them. I am totally for toxicity, I think it is de-stressing to let it out as opposed to build it up. The people behaving like this are completely random, they do not know me and I am sure they would respect me for handling their breakouts like a normal being who does not get offended because certain human emotions in them have exceeded a limit.

The only things I have reported for, were players assisting the enemy team, cheaters, players purposefully sabotaging the game, or literally being AFK (with no disconnect, just not moving). I believe that was it.

I find it very weak from anybody who reports people because they get frustrated and start swearing.

Even death threats in a competitive game are totally normal. I would worry if it's your friend, but people say all sorts of trash in the moment, many even get embarrassed afterwards when they calm down. So my opinion of people who report someone for expressing their emotions, is that they are very sleazy players.

But of course, this opinion is unpopular by today's societal standards, but that's alright.

When someone says something edgy or rude, respond with unsettling kindness. Not overtly creepy or whatever, just act unnervingly kind. People react funny when you do; sometimes they quit their toxicity, sometimes they double down so hard you can't help but laugh, sometimes they get all emotional, etc.

I've had lots of reactions to doing this. Had a kid in an R6 game talk about his family issues, and also had some toxic dude in CS:GO become so mad about it that he began raging, which made the randoms I was playing with get annoyed with him as well, until he eventually got mad enough that he started TK'ing and it led to him being temp-banned for 7 days.

With Apex there's no kicking or anything of the kind, and muting doesn't really help salvage your score in ranked matches, so the best thing I can recommend is just making the best out of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ situation by doing what is known as a minuscule amount of tomfoolery; just mess with the toxic player by being strangely kind. It can't really hurt to try, nothing much to lose anyways when a player starts being toxic as the match may as well already be lost after a certain toxicity threshold.

That's just my two cents. Sucks you got your account banned. I find it really illogical that they have the option in the clan system they introduced in the game for a "Trash Talk OK" tag, yet you can get banned for trash talking. Very illogical. Then again, this is coming from the same studio that pedals transhumanist beliefs and copious amounts of assorted propaganda in their game, so...

SO your first point is because you're a very sensative man that gets triggered by what people say to you in video games (that you can turn off at any point in time) that everyone should be offended, and we should ban anyone who says anything offense. I remember a certain group of evil people thinking like that in Germany in the 30's and 40's, but I can't remember who they are.

this is so horrible. so sad to hear this op. I personally had my top 500 overwatch account perma banned 5 years ago for swearing ( just defensive swearing when others got aggressive) and have never touched any blizzard/activision game to this day. Personally I hope that this SJW woke cancel culture dies and if not some sort of NFT mechanism be implemented so that money and hours spent in game doesnt become worthless after getting nuked like this.
