Nevertheless, didn't League of Legends have some black dude with a cowboy hat as well? I tried to google it, but I do not have the patience to look through all those furries.

There's the high noon skin line but no cowboy champ, so you're probably talking about Lucian who only get slightly close to Seers design in that skin. Also league has been tailored to the weebs for like 2 or 3 years now with horrible power creep :L

His theme is cliche as F. "light out of darkness" BS. You'd think a game like apex would have been clever, sly, cunning whatever enough to dodge that lame bullet or finally flip it for once.(ps. theres a big difference between dark and evil) His appearance is ok but his story is bores-ville already and i don't yet understand his bombardment power which probably just slows...

we also already have crypto who tracks differently
it'd be nice to have a different kind of reconnaissance than the way bloodhound hunts enemies or how crypto constantly surveys areas with his drone
i think he looks sick tbh; different tastes i guess

Tracking traps could be quite cool I suppose?

Maybe a AOE that lasts for x time after being walking into while either showing them through walls, pinging them or for a short while pinging their location like they'd be shooting at mirage clones constantly.
