Disagreed with literally everything you just said. I tested it and has one of the biggest recoil in the game. I am talking about statistics not how you "feel". Also I'm just "master" level bad. My apologies lmao.
Once again disagreed. Statistically a fully kitted L-star have the same stats as a fully kitted Havoc. It has literally the same stats, same damage output, same recoil and rate of fire. Also, I do agree that the L-star is strong. However statistically it's not overpowered and not even in the top 5 highest ttk gun in the game.
Semantics. It's OP when compared to the other guns. LStar was good enough before and now it's even better, it's a gun that requires no attachment to perform.
In Arenas is even more visible how much stronger it is than most weapons, that is why people are saying it's "OP". Same as how people are calling the Prowler OP, because it is.
Statistics won't show you crap, this game is mostly casual and as such, it's filled with apes that can't do ♥♥♥♥ but we shouldn't balance stuff around apes or else we get characters like Crypto or Wattson just crying in the corner because even if they are bad characters, statistically they are not due to the 4 cats that play them are not apes.
The meta in arenas, for the most part, is about LStar and Prowler. You will rarely see other gun unless the other team is unaware, they are doing weeklies/dailies that require other kind of weapon or they are abusing wingman speed to poke.
Statistic shows a lot actually. I'm not saying that statistics are everything and always a deciding factor but in this topic it is. It's literally weaker and have more recoil than a Flatline. It's basically the equivalent of a Havoc and so on... People just say it's OP because it doesn't need to be reloaded and super annoying to get killed by a noob tube. Other than that, if you can handle a Flatline or a Havoc without calling it OP, you can handle an L-star too.
The meta in arenas and in general are pretty irrelevant. The balance will be never perfect and there always will be legends/ guns that are better than others in certain areas. Even if something is 0.00001% better, it becomes meta. If the L-star will be nerfed, other guns will take it's place, if a legend got nerfed, other legends will take their place. The L-star currently feels better because of the no reload, so a lot of newbies are loves it. These constant nerfs are the reason why most "competitive" games are get degraded over the time.
If they really want to nerf the L-star in a meaningful way, then increase the price of it in Arenas. Other than that, the gun is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in most situations.
It has an easier recoil to control than the flatine, what the hell are you talking about? Have you seen the big hitboxes of the bullets as well? No, its not the equivalent of the Havoc AT ALL. Havoc has more DPS but without turbocharger its garbage and it still reloads after 36 shots when fully kitted, LStar doesnt require attachment to work, Havoc does (legendary on top).
You call it "noob tube" but the ones at the top are the ones using it. Flatline is fine and the Havoc actually needs a buff. LStar was already fine before the buff, it didn't need it, it was already meta in Arenas.
I really should stop replying after reading this one line, but I have started so I'll have to finish.
Yeah balance will never be perfect but close to it. Previous patch had better gun balance than this one where we have: Alternator, Rampage, LStar and Prowler being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ beasts that have no business being like this.
When the gun and character balance is similar, you will see more variety instead of whatever may be meta at the time. This is not currently the case.
The LStar feels better now because it got buffed, before it was already good. It's just that people didn't use it for some reason.
The constant nerfs and buffs, balance, are needed to actually improve upon the game's longevity. Even when everything is balanced and should be staying like that, some prefer a balance change just to see the meta change so it doesn't become stale.
They already nerfed the LStar price in Arenas. It's still a monster. Havoc price is 350, LStar is 500 yet as you say that they both are "similar" noone uses the Havoc at the top when it's cheaper allowing you to get an extra battery to heal.
Why? Because they are not similar at all.
I agree, you should really stop commenting since you are clearly here for the sake of the argument. You are either too lazy or dumb to fact check your own claims. Factually speaking a base Flatline has way less recoil even versus a fully kitted L-star. Also, no the Havoc has the same damage output as the L-star. Furthermore, no the L-star has a smaller base magazine which is 2 bullets shorter than the Havoc before it overheats. Lastly, the bullet size is the same as the other guns and don't have bigger hitboxes. It has flare effects tho so it appears bigger, but in general all the bullet hitboxes are pretty much the same. These are facts and not subject to your feelings at this point. If you want I can record a short comparison video for you where I can prove pretty much all of your points wrong. All though I shouldn't have to do it since you could easily test it out in firing range, but anyway I am willing to do it if you want me to.
Amazing how that ban months ago didn't do you any good, you childish racist idiot, you must have been molested as a kid.
