Apex causes cpu to reach 95~ish temperature?
as per title, i would like to ask if anyone else is facing the same issue.
i can play other games, valorant, gtav, league of legends etcetc and i would never hit 90~ temp
and yes i cleaned my fans and everything, probably as shiny and dustless as it can get.
and btw, does vsync in game causes higher temp?

would really love some help asap ty~

You need to clean the dust out of your machine, and make sure there is proper airflow.
Temperatures over 70°C (on the CPU) are potentially damaging.

It's not apex related problem, those games are very low end games don't use much CPU hence low temperature. Apex is more intensive than those so it will use more CPU and resources, your CPU thermal paste has probably dried out or you have bad airflow inside your cabinet. Consider buying better CPU coolers too.

Apex uses only 15% of CPU on my laptop and it's not even high-end one. Seems like an issue with your CPU

i think gtav is more ctu intensive than apex??
i have a AMD ryzen 5 3600 6core cpu, i think it should be able to run it fine?
and i just changed my thermal paste 2-3 weeks ago
how to ensure better airflow?? i put mine in a pretty open area

There is no such thing that a game or any software directly increase cpu temperature, temperature increases as the cpu usage increases i.e when the cpu is doing more work due to the game/software utilising it, so its an indirect process. Monitor your CPU usage using MSI Afterburner, Your CPU is perfectly fine to run the game, temperature is increasing either because the cooler isn't installed properly or the CPU paste has dried out.

may i know how does one use msi afterburner? there are 12 CPU for me to monitor from.
i use CPUID HWMonitor and CoreTemp. In CPUID HWMonitor, it shows that my CPU, TMPIN2 tends to be higher than others. it is also the one that spikes to 90~ when underload, basically what this discussion is about.

so is CPU 2 in MSI afterburner the same as TMPIN2 in CPUID HWMonitor??

MSI afterburner has in game overlay so you can monitor while playing, HWmonitor don't have such thing. Now in MSI afterburner you can customise the overlay, you can choose to view temperature, usage of every single core or just the entire CPU in general. I would like you to compare the CPU usage of various games you play and notice the temperature. Regarding the use of MSI afterburner, you will find thousands of videos on YouTube so just check them out and start monitoring.

I recently built a pc for my brother. It had a ryzen 5 3600x. With the stock cooler, temps on full load were reaching 90+c. After changing the stock cooler, the temps were ~70-75.
Also always turn vsync off.

This is incorrect, that used to be the case some years back, but most CPUs nowadays can easily reach 80 without causing damage

Do you use the stock cooler of 3600? I also use that, and it's pretty bad, especially if your CPU uses boost clock. I'd suggest slightly undervolting, to maybe about 1.25. that made temps in this and many other games way more sustainable for me, and increased performance slightly. Or you can just get an aftermarket cooler, but don't cheap out.
what thermal paste did you use?
