CPU not supported

hey! just starting the game for the first time here on steam but something goes wrong with this message:

"CPU does not have SSSE3 (supplemental SSE3 Instructions)".

I know it's a problem already seen by the origin community, and I tried to follow some guides to fix it .. but not all are applicable or the basic ones will not work ..
any suggestions for Steam? thx

oh i have a really old CPU tho.. AMD Athlon II X4 640

Some old CPUs with that error can still handle more games than newer CPUs. Actually they can handle a lot of games with full frames for a display. They have no Issue and why should you throw away a good but old CPU only because of apex? That's kinda stupid

Buy a better computer. That thing is ancient and will never play it.

i have Athlone x4 840 and can play :/ CPU NEED SUPPORT SS3 and SS4.1

Well yeah but also he cant play Apex so there is that... If youre gonna keep that old junk at least dont complain when you cant run new games.

if i have to be honest i can't complain too much about this "old junk" since it's the first time i read kinda of this error message .. and i played several new games ..

However on Origin exists some sort of hotfix to bypass the problem of old CPUs.

I'd like to play games on Steam, and so i will with Apex Legend one day.
I think I'll wait for a miracle ..
