Even that wont work mate. Apex is literally Welded to your SteamID. If they forcefully unlink your account, it either makes it so your steam wont access any Origin network game, which is pointless if you want to play Apex on it, or could even possibly destroy your steam credibility, making it so you cant play online on Steam overall.

I have contacted EA support. They have no intend on helping with this issue. They say that once you sign-in you are permanently linked to that EA account on steam. Doesn't matter if that account is level 1 and you have a level 500 account and it was a mistake. THEY DONT CARE. YOU ARE NOW PERMANENTLY ♥♥♥♥♥♥.

I downloaded EA Desktop the other month to try that out. When I launched Apex Legends it signed into my account, but I was level 1 and all my stats/skins/etc were gone.

Went back to Origin and just ignored EA Desktop.

Now when I launch the game on Steam it signs me into that level 1 account again. ♥♥♥♥ sake.
I think this is a different issue to OP but still annoying the hell out of me.
