Set v-sync to triple buffering. Worked for me somehow
that works for me too but it has huge input lag :/

try optimizing your vid setting using your gpu.

I had the same problem with the game since start. The game just felt weird when moving the camera. First i thought its a G-Sync problem. After enabling VSync Double buffering and capping the fps on 120 or 100 makes the game feel much more smooth.

same thing here, sometimes it feels like 144hz and sometimes it doesn't, and the frames are surprsingly low for a game that is running on medium on my acer nitro 5

i keep getting 60-72 frames every game and the hz problem sometimes.

Make sure you're using the correct cable that can handle the resolution and refresh rate, not all cables are capable of transferring the same rate of data, also check windows settings if 144hz is even available, if not you are using the wrong cord, and or plugged into the wrong port on your monitor.
Every other game is in 144hz. And it feels exactly like I’m playing with 144hz. Only in apex it doesn’t feel like it.
you could always do one of those UFO tests make sure it is not frame skipping at 144hz. my monitor is also one that runs better for whatever reason at 120hz.

can definitely attest bad connection feels much slower, fast connection can make a huge difference.

you think i should switch my dp cable with hdmi to have 120hz? i dont know it feels like a waste. 144hz and need to downgrade to actually play.. lmao

check and see if windows is actually on 144hz or if it's on the default 60.
if i checked my monitor is 165hz, am i going to change anything in apex setting in order to fit the hz?

This morning, when I played 2 matches, I had the smoothest FPS in King's Canyon. I have a 165hz Asus Gsync monitor and a 1080TI + R5 3600 CPU, running Apex between 120-144fps @1080p, medium high settings.

No vsync in either in game options nor Nvidia control panel.

However... later this evening, for whatever reason, it looked like it was running at 60hz again. It could be Steam Overlay causing it. Maybe some background process in Windows (though I make sure to pause updates). I honestly have no idea, but I don't think it's an issue with your hardware (unless it's very under powered).

It's just the way the game behaves from time to time. If I were to uncap my game, the fps shoots up to 200fps. But I always advice against this because, playing at a higher fps than 144fps in Apex, can mess with your aiming.

Something about the way the frames fluctuates from low, mid to high does no good to your aim. Strangely enough, when setting the in game options to adaptive vsync 1/2, the frames are unhinged. Getting as high as 218fps. But when turning off vsync, it caps at 144 (or 143).

You can even lower the graphical settings all the way down and it can still look jittery regardless.

No idea what causes these weird frame dips, despite it showing a steady 120-144fps.
