Olympus is not fun

I just came back after almost 2 years (I played Apex right after it was released for about month back in 2019), and after 4 days I'm already sick of this map, it's so boring and there are no interesting places. Even if there are bioms it feel so bad, travelling is super annoying.

There is no hot spot like Skull Town + Market, and Oasis sucks, its close quarters without any loot and if there is more than 15 people it's just clusterfck, I would say Plaza is okay-ish.

I loved Kings Canyon and jumping to Skull Town or Slums, that was so fun (I have no idea how good or bad was World's Edge).

Is there any chance they will bring old maps to ranked matches or there always will be "the new one"?

The new map looks amazing and is amazing in all honestly but form a battle stand point its PURE ASS like it is just terrible AF, also since you last played lots of changes have happend to the maps (skull town is gone) and so is king canyon it got removed this season and worlds edge will return in a few days once the timer runs out for the new map i recammend looking up video to see what all has happend

I Love the New Map. It feels Fresh and makes a lot of Fun. In the beginning i didnt liked it at all. But after 22hrs on it. Im used to the Map, and fell in Love with it. Sad part is that they took Kings Canyon away. I Dont like Worlds Edge. Thats the most Boring map they ever made.

It looks damn good, but sadly that doesn't mean its good. I'll take a look on some yt videos, thank you.

I'm happy for you sir, not everyone have to agree and maybe I'll try Worlds Edge in trios tomorrow and I'll love it like you Olympus.

Well maybe not even month, not sure, it was time when new season started in World of Warcraft, so I rather put time into wow or CS:GO.

World's Edge will return to regular rotation in a week. Kings Canyon is shelved for this season. Olympus ranked will last until the split.

Skull Town and Market weren't hot spots right from the start, players need time to figure out the best landing spots

Olympus map is rly good, it just takes time to get into it. Once u do u gona love it more than kc.

Eh been playing Olympus and it really looks nice as I love that they are finally using some brighter colors, and the theme is nice, but I agree that gameplay wise it's still not hitting the King's Canyon fun factor. The new map just feels like Worlds Edge 2.0 but even scarcer loot it feels like. Been noticing that if you drop hot you can get good loot, but all meds/shields are depleted in the area after wiping out everyone in the area, making the following fights hard to win so you kind have to land in hot zones with crafting stations to make some shield bats. It's either that or land in far good lootzones but miss out on having that fun initial drop fight.
