Can't login
I can't login as the title said. I tried to login my Origin account when I opened up Apex but it said "We're sorry, but we're having some technical difficulties. Please try again later." It's been an hour or more and I am still unable to login Apex through Steam. Anyone know how to fix this or is the server just retarded?

I've had this problem before, and what worked for me was emptying the origin cache files. Try going to %appdata%/roaming in file explorer and deleting the origin folder there, then backtracking to %appdata% and clicking "Local", then deleting the origin folder there. Then restart origin and see if that helps. :D

But I installed Apex on steam, not through Origin platform, so I don't think there is an Origin folder in my %appdata% after looking for it...

Or do I have to install Origin in order to get Apex working on Steam? I was able to play Apex on Origin but after I reformatted my pc (clearing all the things from C and D drive) I planned to install Apex on Steam and now this login issue happened and I can't play the game...

I might need a bit more info to go off of. You have Apex installed, and steam itself works just fine right? so when you click launch on the game, then what happens? I'm not entirely sure what you're explaining here, walking me through what you're doing will help!

Just regularly open up Steam, then start up Apex that I installed on Steam, then on the home screen of Apex, I clicked it to login, then I entered my details, that phrase of technical issues come up and I can't login, despite switching different Origin accounts, it says the same thing. So after that I tried to login Origin web, but it works fine so I can't figure out the issue here..

Can you login onto Origin desktop? If it shows the same error, then it is indeed an origin issue. If it turns out to be an Origin issue and deleting the cache files doesn't work, the EA threads previously posted should walk you through a manual reinstallation of Origin itself

I didnt install Origin on my desktop, but login into Origin on google chrome works just fine. Does playing Apex on Steam require you to install Origin?
Kaiyohte Nov 10, 2020 @ 6:11pm
I'm pretty sure it does, and that's probably what you're missing. It should only take a bit to install, and I'm positive that you don't have to download the entirety of Apex on origin just to play on steam :D

Bro, use VPN.
100% works.

Reply me if fail.

edit : use VPN only to login your Origin account. Once. then turn it off

Dude wouldn't that be annoying as hell, have to use VPN to login everytime trying to play Apex?
Kaiyohte Nov 10, 2020 @ 7:00pm
I'm pretty sure it's just a one time, just the first login, because you sign in with your origin account to link them. Once they're already linked, you can just play the game as usual, it won't ask you to sign in with your origin every time you boot up the game

Okay now the issue is I can't login into Origin application itself, any solution? D:

So the VPN didn't work for booting it up on Steam?
