Player models lagging pls help (not fps issue)
My friends got me into this game but whenever i play BR i get like 20 ping in the battleship but when i land i'm like 800 ping and i'm not laggy myself (144 fps) but the peoples player models are like lagging and they stand still for 2 seconds and then move so its literally impossible to play the game but in arenas it doesn't happen or if there's like 2 squads left on BR so pls help. I've tried all launch options "+gfx_nvnUseLowLatency 1 +fps_max 144 -freq 144 -high" and setting graphics to lowest but it still doesn't help no matter what i do so please if anyone knows how to fix it please help because this game is fun. I tried an internet test and it says 12 ping, 140 download speed and 25 upload speed so its not my internet.

do you set your game's process a realtime priority or something?

not a single person knows the anwser?

It must be your local connection.

If your router can do that: Set your QoS accordingly: your PC to highest priority (realtime application).

Do you connect to your router by cable or wifi? Switch to lan connection if possible.

Do you have a VPN service? Try connecting through this service via "fastest server". I experienced myself that ping may go down via VPN.

Disable all other devices and traffic from router, so that your device is the only one.

Flush DNS:
Open > CMD (Search on your windows search bar)
Type > ipconfig /release
then
Type > ipconfig /renew
then
Type > ipconfig /flushdns
Restart Apex.

Did anything have an effect?

Probably your CPU is too busy to handle network packets. Looks like you run the game with high priority on top of the fact that the game is a CPU hog right now, so it is a possible case.

I'm quite convinced it's your connection but did you experienced this in other games or only Apex? Try changing the server you are playing in Apex. I also experienced random 200 ping spikes in 1 server but after changing it it went to normal vut with silghtly higher ping (40-60ms)

Have you tried the cl_interp_ratio x in launch option? Change the x to numbers from 2 to 4. 2 for high packet loss 3-4 for heavy packet loss (ex: cl_interp_ratio 2). It was an old launch option fix that helped me long ago when i started playing Apex.
