Product Key
I need to put in the product key on Origins but I can't find it anywhere. Where would it be located?

Origin Client
Log in with the EA Account where you want to add the game.
Click the Origin menu.
Select Redeem Product Code...

Origin Site
Log in to the Origin store website using the EA Account where you want to add the game.
Select Game Library.
Click Add a Game in the top right corner. This will drop down an option to click Redeem Product Code…

Valve released a new version of the Steam client that's required to install the game. I imagine you might be missing that one?

Check for updates in Steam by clicking on Steam -> Check for Steam Client Updates, and you'll hopefully be prompted to update to the necessary Steam client.

I'm also having this issue. Origin is asking for me to type in the key, and I can't find where to locate it in steam.

It installed just fine. Origin was asking me for a Product Key when I tried to launch the game and I can't find a key anywhere. I closed out Origin and relaunched with Steam and it booted up though.

i'm still downloading the game but Thank you for pointing out. didn't notice there was an update.

This might be it as well, I imagine.

On the first launch of Steam a thin Origin installer should launch that will, I believe, also update Origin to a version that works with the Steam integration, so ensure that Origin is also closed down when launching the game for the first time.

Update for anyone else that has a problem. After closing out of Origin instead of putting in a code the game launches fine. And I have it in my Origin library without putting in a key now as well.

Restarting Origin didn't help me. Issue was resolved by rebooting PC.

I had some problems getting it to work as well. I just reinstalled the Origin launcher (which was not easy as well because it wouldnt let me install it) and now it finally works. I was getting quite frustrated.

Make sure your VPN is off when you try starting the game.
